Hurray! The construction of Joyful House of Refuge has begun!

We are ecstatic! The construction of Joyful House of Refuge in Bombo Uganda has begun on Christmas day! What a Christmas present!

After a wait of several weeks pending the building permission from the local authorities, the "good to go" has finally arrived: A temporary permission enabled the local crew to start purchasing the building materials and begin the work on the foundation. Bricks, ciment, logs were quickly brought to the construction site, and under the watchful supervision of Schouki, the head of the Burundian refugee group, the work began. JHR is on it's way!!!
